Explore endless mazes to escape or hunt down survivors in this adventure title
CornField, developed by Daniel Seman and published by Galactic Games for PC, is an action-adventure horror game. Set in a vastly eerie cornfield, players must collect all the resources available across the field, run from a monstrous entity, and eventually escape the cornfield.
Illustrated in realistic 3D graphics, CornField delivers an immersive, horror-filled experience that explores themes of psychological thriller, survival, action, and exploration. This lore-rich, gory title supports up to five players, making it an excellent choice for co-op sessions with others online who enjoy intense, story-driven horror gameplay.
Hunt or be hunted down
In CornField, you are transported to a corn maze, where the scary stuff takes place. The ultimate goal is to escape this eerie expanse, but you must first gather the necessary resources in the field by exploring it. Be careful, though. It contains many jump scares that prompt you to scream into your microphone, which can be heard by the monster chasing you through Voice Detection Mechanic.
Resources are not only for escaping the many different maps—some of the items in the field can also be used to defend yourself from the killer, using intuitive, simple controls. In some instances, you can even play as the monster and chase other players via the online multiplayer mode that enables multiplayer sessions with a maximum of five players.
As a survivor, avoid reacting with sound to any element on the map that allows the killer to track you down through the Dynamic Voice Chat System, but make sure to utilize this aspect as a killer. However, it suffers from game-breaking drawbacks, including item-related bugs, performance issues, and unintended sequence breaks, which can significantly impact the overall gameplay experience.
Survival horror experience
CornField delivers a chilling blend of survival horror and psychological tension, brought to life with realistic visuals and a unique voice-based detection mechanic. Its co-op mode adds extra intensity as you team up—or get hunted—with up to four others. While the concept is strong, technical issues and bugs currently hold it back from reaching its full potential. Better alternatives include SILENT HILL f and Backrooms: Escape Together.
